Lindt already has strong brand recognition in Travel Retail, but the challenge was turning that familiarity into stronger in-store engagement. In a busy airport environment, shoppers make fast decisions, shelves can become visually crowded, and new products or gifting occasions can easily get lost.
We approached the project by looking at the full shopper journey, from the first moment of attention through to purchase. Under the idea A Taste Worth Travelling For, we developed a modular retailtainment toolkit designed to make Lindt more visible, more interactive and easier to shop across different store formats.
The solution combined scalable shelf interruption tools, interactive experiences, guided gifting concepts and Travel Retail exclusives. From hero windows and dynamic shelf frames to Maître Chocolatier experiences, collectible jars and gifting mechanics, each concept was created to give shoppers a stronger reason to stop, engage and choose Lindt.
The result was a flexible system that could work across different airport environments while keeping one clear objective at the centre: turning passing traffic into attention, desire and purchase.
